Hi Everyone,
Just got back froma trip to Ireland to photograph a sea bird colony. I found these on the harbour wall near where we caught the boat to the colony itself.
Not a bad start to your trip. Well exposed keeping detail in the blacks and whites. Agree with cloning out the black in the BG, also might be worth giving it a little CW rotation.
Look forward to seeing the rest from your trip.
Regards
Rob

I go with the above too.
Nice composition though and interesting birds

Cloning out the black strip is going to be really difficult - maybe you'd be better off using the clone tool and continuing it across the entire top edge of the frame - where it stops at present is what distracts me most
A bit of CW rotation and perhaps cut some of the OoF fg and I think it'll look miles better Chris.
Thanks for the comments so far.
Does this image look any better? I have extended the wall right across as Andy suggested. I did try to clone it out but it was way too difficult for my cloning skills.
