I finally got my hands on my MK111 yesterday so went out this morning to give it a go,Well what a camera, first impressions are very impressive,A great fell, very smooth compared to my MKII,The images straight out of the camera seem better all round compared to the MKII,The only bug bear was that the sensor is covered in dust I didnt give it a hard time on its first outing with just some Grebes and dragonflies

Hi Dave,
Nice shot , I really like the shadow of the wing thats being cast onto the leaf.
Just a quick question , how does the 500F4 perform with the 1.4 and 3 tubes ???
Suprisinly well is the answer. The tubes are Jessops and have planty of play in them which you maybe wouldnt get with Canon tubes but everything works- The dragon flies were in a large pond but would have meant getting and disturbing other plants and wildlife to get the shot-hence the big lens combo
