Hi,
Got taken to a spot full of these and five million hungry mosquitoes, I now look like a case of severe Chicken pox. It was nice to meet Andy Shepard and an old wise fella called Glyn Hudson whose a lurker.

Cheers now

Tim
Taken with my 300 2.8, 1.7TC and 20mm extension tube. I had tried with a 300mm F/4 and a sigma 150mm, but there was no way the buggers would let me close.

Superb Tim,the leaf over the back wing does't spoil the image IMO.

Lovely shot Tim and definately a creature that warrants a good close-up view such as this.

What's that green band running across the wings,a bit of foreground folliage I presume.

Thanks for comments.

Hi Justin its a bit of foreground reed, it was a struggle not used to shooting whilst being eaten alive.
