New Forest mare and foal.
Canon 20D, Canon 100-400mm L I.S. @ 150mm, 1/320 sec @ f11,
- 1/3 exp. comp.,Raw, iso 200, Gitzo 1548/B1.
Full frame,levels,slight saturation increase.



Hi,

One of my favourite subjects from a favourite location.
It's quite a magical time in the New Forest at this time of year,with the vast areas of heather starting to gain some colour,and best of all,there's a newly born foal around every corner :smile:

Took this one last year.

Super shot, Justin. Love the animated expression of the foal. Perhaps just add a bit more canvas at the top?
Love that part of the world; hope you will post a few more from that area as the year progresses.

Great expression on that foal.

Nice image - though I too would like to see the crop a little less tight at the top.
