Betting that no one has seen this falls
I only just discovered this falls and as far as I know it doesn't have a name. It is in a very obscure location and I don't think even many locals know about it. However, some of you have poked around the NW so much you might surprise me.

Well you've got me. I've no idea. But that is an interesting composition. Did you check Brian's Waterfalls of the Northwest website?

In general, I like the diagonal connection between the foliage and falls; however I would like to see a composition from somewhere further left where the falls points into the image as opposed to away. Definitely quality work regardless.

Is this in washington or oregon?

This may be a challenge for bryan.

Tom! LOL! That's funny. Yeah, nearest volcano would help narrow the location a bit....
Guess you figure to keep your secret,eh, Shawn? It's a good comp in general, a little unusual with the falls heading out of the frame and not into its river or splash pool. But I feel like I'm peering at it from a hiding place, and that's kinda cool.

I like the curve of the falls as is. It meets the line of the curve edge of the moss covered of the rock.

As far as the falls go, it looks ridiculously familiar to me, but I can't place it at all. Gimme a rough area (county, river drainage, etc) and I could probably tell you where it is, what its called and how tall it is and how many stickers you have in your palm from smashing through devils club.

Compositionally, I'm not quite drawn in to it. The plant almost draws more attention than the falls themselves, and I personally find the sky peeking through the trees to be a tad distracting. Not a bad shot at all, but I'd agree with Trevor in that I'd like to see more to the left of the falls.
