River Warbler with 1DmkIII
River Warblers are a real treat in Denmark, where only a couple are seen each summer. Had to exerzise my new camera so this guy was my target of the day.

1DmkIII + 500/4 + tc1.4; iso400, 1/800 f7.1, cropped to only 20% of original in order to loose a lot of clutter. Cloned a bit clutter out as well.

Cheers,

Helge

Gorgeous shot, I love the way you can see the light shine through his beak. He certainly is in full cry. Beautiful colours too.

A really first class shot.Love the head turn, just enough to get a really good look at the eye,but at the same time giving a superb view of that open beak. :toast:

Hi Helge

Cracking shot of a species I have never seen and the quality of the image at 400iso with such a large crop is excellent!
