Gorge grove
Spring in the east Gorge, Washington side. I liked the balance in this grove of trees with the green grass behind. But is it just to plain? Your comments?

Nice catch Jerry. It does look little soft (especially the tree) and maybe framed a bit to tight on the sides.

This is pretty cool Jerry. I really like the black trunks on the green canvas. The shadow play in the FG is also great. However, I'm not feeling any strong compositional elements, intriguing lines or compelling visual storytelling. I think I would have been interested in getting closer with a wide angle and seeing what kind of FG could be made out of the shadows with the backlit trees looming overhead.

Jerry,
This is a great grove, and you've captured it nicely. Although not having strong compositioinal elements in it as Sean mentioned...I still like the overall feel to this as presented.
