The Seattle Times did a great article about the storm damage repairs @ Mount Rainier National Park:

Repairs @ Mount Rainier National Park

A few weeks back Nancy & I drove up to the park via the North East entrance. We saw maybe 5 cars the whole day!!! It was soooooooooooooo peaceful and easily one of the best trips into the park we've ever had simply because we basically had the park to ourselves.

The storm damage to be seen is mind boggling! Every year there are some trees down but this time the rivers and streams and full of trees and piles of boulders.

Anyhoo this is a good read for anyone who loves the park!!
