Hermit Pass
One of my favorite places on Earth. This is from those tarns right at timberline last night.

And here's one from this morning, same place, different tarn.

These are great! It still looks a little wet/muddy up there, but I'll try to go in a couple of weeks. Thanks for posting.

Very nice Todd!!

Hermit also qualifies as one of my favorite sites on earth!! I'm hoping to get down there late July! These images just make me want to go sooner!!!

Beautiful! I'm a sucker for reflections. I like the second one best for the green in the foreground. Looks like another beautiful place to put on my desired destinations list.

Thanks for sharing, Todd.

Although I like them both, #2 really shines. :toast:

I thought I recognized you from the pictures in your book. We saw you headed up the road. as the family and myself were headed down from Hermit Pass. We were in the Tundra. I didn't think 50 mph was possible on this road  Just kidding.

I really like the second image. It looks like we left to soon and missed the great light.

Outstanding! How did you balance the light?

Sweet photos Todd! I tried making it to the pass a few months ago but deep snow stopped me a little past Hermit lake--guess ill have to do another trip this summer.

Oh Rand, I wish you'd have said something. Nice to know we crossed paths anyways.

These are wonderful, but your post on ES&S just blows me away. My kind of shot. Good work!

That 2nd shot rocks! This is definitely a place I need to visit. Brent, give a holler when you go down and I'll see if I can get away about the same time as it's always better to have a guide
