First of the Day Lilies
The Day Lilies in my garden are just starting to bloom. Meanwhile, the deer are eating them like candy at night. It will be a close race to see whether we actually get to enjoy the blooms before they are all snacks.

Here's the first one of the season.

Like a star burst..... if you want daylilies get over here before the weekend ( especially if it rains!).

Nice comp and DOF, Chuck. I can relate to the deer eating the Lilies...seems like it's their favorite midnight snack along with Hostas. Yesterday I noticed the deer must have had a Hosta party here at the apartment complex where I live, completely wiping out a nice large planting...only the stems are left!

Nice image, Chuck. Flora photography isn't something I have done much of, but I feel I should give it a go. Seems to be that one would have the potential to sell several.

Thanks for sharing
