I have been asked to supply some images on a DVD for a local company as they may want to use some in a calender, however they want the images numbered so they can see it when they are viewing it as a slide show, any ideas how i can do this??? i can put my watermark on with batchphoto but cant work this out!! thanks
You can do this using XP as well. Quite harsh and not that controllable, but just highlight a number of images, right click and select rename. It will appear as if you're only naming 1 image and when you save it, it will apply it's consecutive naming conventions to it. Test it, it may not do what you want exactly. Cheers
I think you're asking if there's a way to add it so it's displayed as part of the image...
Normally the program that does the slideshow should display this info for them. Most programs like Breezebrowser, iView etc have options to display the filename during the slideshow.
However, if their slideshow program can't do it, then you can use Breezebrowser (BB) to add a watermark at the bottom of each image (Breezebrowser has an option to apply two watermark lines, so you can still keep your normal watermark there too). In BB, you need to select the images you want to 'proof' and then right-click and select 'Proof'. This will give you an option screen - part way down you'll see a 'Watermark1' and 'Watermark 2' option - tick the box and then click on the settings button next to it. This will then allow you to enter the watermark text - you can use any of BB's html tags in these lines, so you should be able to actually add the filename in too, something like @fileNoExt@ should do it. (The tags are in the help file).
If you don't have BB, then you'll have to use something like Photoshop/Elements to add the filename as a text line on the image - if this is the case then I'd prepare two sets of images for them - one with and another without the text!
