Another Roe Buck.

Raw.

Another from my ongoing quest to try and capture Roe deer in colourful surroundings.
Took this one back in August 2005 at the peak of their rutting season.

Stunning stuff Justin - great work. The oof fg in the bottom left does distract slightly, but that's more than made up for by the rest of the image.

This is fantastic. I would love a shot like this. All my Roe Deer areas seem to be drab scrub land, with no colour at all. :frown: Well done on a superb photograph :toast: :toast: :toast:

Hi Justin,

Lovely image, the purple BG sets this off wonderfully. Did you use a hide/camo for this shot?

Regards Chris.

Many thanks to all for the very kind comments.
Quite an unexpected response and very encouraging to hear.
Thank you.

Did you use a hide/camo for this shot?

Sorry for the delayed reply Chris. No hide was used.I just sat very still and quiet extremely close to a pine sapling to conceal my outline and had a large piece of army scrim net over my head and one over the lens.Tend to wear green also.
