I'm nearing completion on a new book by our very own Dave Showalter called "Prairie Thunder." It's going to be amazing! Everyone here at CNP was such a great help with choosing Erik's book photo that I thought I'd return here for some aid this time around. Please let me know which letter designates the book jacket photo choice you'd make. Thanks!

'A' works for me. It's endearing and welcoming. "Come look at my beautiful photos!"
Congrats Dave!

THE HOFF. Number D.

Well, since D is actually a photo of Dave, I'd go with that one. Didn't know he was called the HOFF though.

Jesse, Dave S. was known as "the HOFF" during his college years and it stuck. Apparently he was in show biz for a while before picking up a camera. And the pose with those cute dogs is called "Prarie Thunder" (kinda like Zoolander's "Blue Steel" ).
"Blue Steel" was a classic, but what was the new pose he unveiled near the end of the movie? (the one with another name that looked exactly like Blue Steel.)
So, I take it these are all pics of Dave featuring different mood swings?
I'll go for A - the mid-day wherewolf-with-mange look.
Along the same lines a Kalin - you just couldn't put the book down after seeing that - very inviting.

Todd, I believe that you are referring to "Magnum."
OK, I'm glad that you folks could have a little fun. Although the naked-except for puppies look is all the rage, and ratdogs are so ugly..........well, they're just fugly; I probably look more like Jerry than any of the other 3. So, here's my vote.
Okay, I've never met Dave, but I'd have to go with B in this instance, but only because I've never enjoyed the opportunity of spelling out "Ahhnold"! Besides, that pic of The Hoff is just disturbing and sickening!

I only ask because Dave's own photo choice looks like the first step in the recipe for "Owl-on-a-Stick".
(1) Catch a tasty little owl.
(2) Heat the skillet over an open flame...
