Hey Wayne, this is just for you. Thanks for the barn info you sent! I'll definitely check into that. My best barn-finding methods thus far have been to (1) send my mountain biker husband out scouting around (which works quite well); or (2) drive aimlessly around on country roads with a DeLorme's Kansas gazeteer (so I don't get lost). Both methods have yielded wonderful results, but this might be yet another way to find great barns. Barns with true character are fast disappearing.
This was taken kind of over in your neck of the woods. South of Louisburg a few miles on Hwy. 69, west side of the highway. I got lucky with the fall colors this day. Enjoy!

Angela, you're welcome for the info. The Kansas Barn Alliance would probably welcome all the help it could get to document the remaining historic barns so it may be a good deal for everyone involved.
In this shot I like the repeating barns and the fall color is nice too. I might clone out the small white building between the two barns and crop off the upper sky to give the barns more emphasis. One thing is for sure, barns are fun to shoot! Thanks for posting!
Hi Angela
I love the barn and the fall colors. I saw another guy that takes alot of rural barn images you might enjoy browsing his site.

Angela, I like the fall colors of the trees and the red barns. I agree with Wayne's crop suggestion, you might take a look and see what you think. Nicely done and thanks for sharing!
