Hello everyone
I made a run down Baker Creek last evening in my Kayak. This creek runs into the Cossatot River. The Cossatot or "tot" as we call it was up pretty high and basically washes out, but luckily we caught Baker Creek running. This is one of the first drops on it and the only one I had time to photo.

Pretty fall Gale, and a well composed shot. The brown tones in the water actually give this a warmer feel which I like here. I also like the ripple created by the small shelf downstream of the falls, a nice element.
Tom, looks like someone else with your passion for the water!

Hey Gale, very nice shot! It is pretty rare to catch Baker Creek up this time of the year. I am curious what camera you took with you in your kayak and what type of dry bag you keep it in?
Nicely done on the waterfalls Gale. Shooting from a kayak could not have been easy, you did a good job giving the falls that "cotton candy" look. the mossy rock in the foreground is a nice element. What I really like though is the light in the upper left on the rocks in the background. Well done and thanks for sharing!

excellent shot...I love how the splash pool extends out quite a ways and you have minimized the blowout of the white falls....well done!
Tom , Canon 400D, 17-40L in a pelican case and my bogen heavy tripod both strapped in the stern. This only fits in my creek boat it's to large for my playboat. I've been paddling beautiful creeks for years and never had the guts to take any of my equipment, not any more. I also have insurance and the best warranty I can get.
Very nice shot. I like the splash of light in the ULC which highlights the brown streaks on the rocks, and the texture of the moss on the rocks in the FG. I've never been able to get good stream shots when I come to Arkansas - because the streams always seem to be dried up when we're there!
