An excellent look, Anil. I really like the simplistic view and the diagonal placement of the entire scene. The beach sand texture really pops out as a result of the low horizon lighting as well.

I like it. Very nice sand texture, and lighting.

I like the simplicity of this. perhaps you could tone that white spot down but very nice otherwise.
I love the texture and patterns in the sand as well as the bubbles in the receeding water. For me though, the bright, reflected sun at the top is a bit too much for my eyes and keeps me from enjoying the rock, it's shadow and the patterns in the sand.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this photograph. I really appreciate the feedback.
Richard and Lon: The bright spot IMHO is an integral part of the composition and so I am reluctant to tone it down too much. I do agree that it is a tad too bright in this presentation - it is because my Epson 3200 refused to cooperate. I'll take care of that when I get this chrome drum-scanned.

NOTES: A small stretch of pristine sand, a splash of evening sunlight and a lonesome stone…together they made my heart race.

Not the most exciting sunset photograph, but I hope it will interest some of you. I plan to add this to my Coastal Stones series.
Thanks for looking. As always, I appreciate your input.
Kind regards.
