This might be of interest to anyone using Lightroom, in case you have not already seen it. Adobe has announced Lightroom 1.1 Update.

If you have the auto-updater turned on in either Lightroom or Photoshop it will make this upgrade automatically, or at least give you the chance to do so. During one of my recent workshops several of the folks there did not even realize their camera raw had been upgraded automatically to 4.1 (also included in this Lightroom upgrade) until I showed them the new sharpen and clarity features - kind of like wearing the ruby slippers... Very nice on Adobe's part, and all software should make this sort of thing available to us. If you have either program and don't have the auto part enabled, just go to the "update" or "check for new software" link under the "help" menu and you will be all set...
