Big Piney Barn
Here's one for Tom, who drove me around the Big Piney area looking for barn's shots for my first ever solo exhibit. I will be hanging 22 framed images this saturday in the Agricultural Hall of Fame's Gallery of Rural Art (Bonner Springs, KS). They will be on display during the month of July. If you're in the Kansas City area I'd be honored if you'd stop by and visit my exhibit. All the images are for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to the AgHall. BTW, this one's not in it!

Wayne, the shot brings back fond memories of our excursion. Good luck on your exhibit, I hope it is a sellout!

Congrats on the exhibit, and a great looking barn; I wish I was going to the K.C. area next month

Wayne, great shot of a classic Ozark barn! Looks like you guys found some nice spring color, in spite of the late freeze.

I'm going to hit the road the next couple of weeks shooting prairies in Missouri, and will stop in and take a peek. Hope you sell a boat load!

Hey Wayne
Congradulations on your exhibit, Great accomplishment. That's to far out of my way for me to see it, wish I could though. Good luck on your sales.
I love the color of the wildflowers in the forground, nice image.

Thanks for reminding me about your exhibit. I will have to stop in there to check it out.

Very nice barn picture too!

Great shot! Love the flowers in the FG.

I'll definitely have to try and make it over there this month. Have always wanted to see the museum, so this is a good "excuse" to make time for it. We'll have to trade notes on barns sometime.

Thanks Angela, the flowers were a nice bonus.

I hope you can make it by the Ag Hall, it's an interesting place if you like farming history. Their big annual event is on July 14th (threshing display, tractor pull, etc.) and and I plan on being there to talk with anyone interested in the images.

And I'd be happy to tell you what little I know of barns in eastern Kansas.

Dang, you would have to schedule your personal appearance on the weekend I'll be out of state!!
My husband has a mountain bike race in Eureka Springs that weekend. I was really hoping to meet you face to face. I will try to get over there sometime this month to at least see the exhibit. Good luck with it.

My son and I just returned from a fun afternoon at the Ag Hall of Fame. That is an impressive group of images that you have on display Wayne! Well done. You have a great eye for composition Wayne. Sorry that we are going to be at the lake for the weekend. I would have liked to stop by when you were there. The plus side was we had the place to ourselves and the weather was awesome.
