Howdy folks, I have good news & I have bad news. The bad news first - I have to postpone the July 21st workshop here at the humble Lamb Abode. I am going to have surgery on July 17th and I won't be out of the hospital until maybe the 23rd or later...
Let's please do make all attempts at finding a different home to host this event at. It is VERY clear that we have a LOT of interest in this so I think it would be a real bummer if we let this fall away folks.
So what's the good news you ask? This surgery will finally remedy an ongoing health issue I've been fighting for some four years now. I've been diagnosed with acute diverticulitis (you can go to WebMD.com for more detailed information...). It keeps recurring and really messing up my day to day, week to week, month to month living. In simple terms its been damn annoying so I am VERY motivated to get some lasting relief. Getting past this will be oh so wonderful!! Please keep my beloved and I in your prayers. I'm gonna be a bit of a handful for her for awhile me thinks.
If someone can pick up the hosting for this event that would be oh so tre cool!!!
Oh shoot. Actually that goes for both the 'good' news and the bad news. That you view surgery as a good opportunity to be rid of a nasty problem is the good news. Take good care Rick. And yes you will both be in my thoughts.

Are they going to take out the bad section of colon? I Know a couple of people that have done it in the past six months. If they do, I hope they can do it with a laprascope. The two people I know that have this have recovered and feel better than ever. Good luck and feel free to email me if you have any questions.
Whoa, Rick buddy...I didn't know. Sorry for the trouble it's put you through...but at least you are taking care of it now.
You and Nancy are in my thoughts big guy and please keep us posted. We're one big happy family here and we dont like it when our siblings have troubles. I truly mean this...let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do.

Man, what is it with this forum... seems like half of us are getting some kind of surgery or other over the last several months!
