Greenway to Old House in trees
After some crop suggestiond on my "Grove" post I thought I would post this from the same area this spring. This was the walk down to the old house in the trees. Comments please.

Hey Jerry!
I like images of trees that remind you of hallways, and this one is just that. Overall, a pleasing image, but with a few eye catchers that deter a little. One, is that tree on the left. It's a bit too big and chunky/too much black, so it makes the image feel left heavy. Second...I think the greens are just a smidgeon oversaturated...but only a little.
I can see returning here in the fall and taking a few steps forward and past that tree on the left.

I agree with what Rick said about the tree on the left and the greens a tad oversaturated. I like how the path of grass and tunnel of trees lead you into the frame.

Hi Jerry,
I think the light is harsh, but it still works. I found that by cropping down to where no sky shows, and in a little from the left to ease the dominance of that fg tree, a stronger image emerges. It seemed to me then that the hallway effect was still there with the added interest of the long shadow reaching into the foreground in an eye-catching way. :wavey:
