Hi,

One to compliment the rather un-seasonal weather we seem to be temporarily getting.
Taken in October 2006 in the New Forest.

The contrasting size between the toadstools caught my eye.

All comments always welcome and appreciated.

Cool perspective Justin. Particularly like the muted colours in this. Nice work and a good eye for this sort of stuff :toast:

Great vision Justin. Like Barrie says it's just the temporarily wet bit that I'm not sure about!

hi justin,

nice image, excellent in fact. would be very interesting to know what your lighing set up was. it is very even, seemingly 1 source from above and one rhs?

Hi Mark,

Lighting was just natural light in the woodland, probably a cloudy day too.Very low light levels and very diffuse hence the 15 second exposure.
Can't remember off-hand but may possibly have used a piece of white card to reflect some light into any dark areas.

I like it, but the rip/mottle in the flesh of the main subject detracts from the image. Cloudy days are good
