Smokies Waterfall
Just returned from a trip to the Smokies, was more of a family vacation, could only slip away a couple of times to try and get a few images. Was very dry and crowded in the park, this shot came from below Grotto falls, I hiked up to the falls and counted 37 people in the pool below the falls so I backtracked down the creek a bit and got this image. The shadows were a little too dark and the water is on the verge of being blown out a little, but it was a nice scene away from the crowds. Thanks for the info you all gave me last week on places to go in the park.

Nice and lush, Bernie. I have passed by this area so many times on my way to Grotto. Glad you took the time to check it out.

Thanks for all the comments, there is a story that goes along with this image I didn't want to post it here because it's kinda long, but if you want you can go to my blog and read it for yourself. I think some of you can relate to it. Clicking the www will get you there, thanks again.
