Today was a wonderful day for hiking at Silver Creek Park, but it was too sunny for photographing waterfalls and woodlands. I therefore enjoyed the hike, and tried to do some more abstract close-ups.
Coulpe things here...might as well convert to bw since it is close anyway...then cropping off the left side to make it square helps some...but I really like the exposure of the water here.

It's interesting as an abstract, Richard. Hopefully you won't mind me messing with your image, but I tried it as a B/W, and it does give you a lot more latitude to bring out detail in the rock, but it also led to a pretty harsh image. So I adusted as a duotone to bring back the blues from your original image, while retaining some of the rock detail (adjusting highlights and shadows). I normally only use the duotone conversion to create sepias, but I've used it a couple of times on frozen waterfall images (as an alternative to strict B/W).
