Ditto from me also about liking the article. The best way to be where you enjoy even in photography is to enjoy where you are.

Great story Bill, I'm always interested to hear how photographers "came to be". Sounds like you & and your wife are a good team. She creates the beauty ... you create the memories!

Bill, another fine article which hits home. I agree that the lack of grand vistas trains us to look for smaller vignettes. There are other limiting factors besides location (like jobs, family, etc.), but it would be interesting to make a chart showing where most of the regulars in macro and floral live.
