Well with heat like this... many have ventured up in the mountains... so as last saturday rolled around I figured to hit up Paint Mines Interpretive Park(Calhan, CO). My two previous visits were during winter and least to say...were cold as heck! This time I was greeted with fantastic cool temps. To my surprise there were a lot of flowers still around. Paintbrush, Loco, Sego Lily etc. If you have yet to visit paint mines...It is by far worth the 1.5hr drive from Denver. I have uploaded a whole lot of images from Saturday on my website under Recent Images. Heres a sampling

Nice stuff, Michael. I like 'em all, especially number 3 because of the grassland context.

Cool colors, textures and shapes - here and on your site. Definitely have to get out there soon!

Good stuff Michael. This place is really interesting and (for the most part) apparently unknown to a lot of photographers. :toast:
