Here is my contribution to the Harrison Flat portfolio.

My Son and I were up there 16-17 June with Jesse and Kevin Adkins. We didn't get quite as nice light on Saturday evening as they saw on Friday but it was good.

I was pleased that I was able to get quite a bit out of single exposures with no blending or double processing of the raw. No filters other than a polarizer although I boosted the saturation in some areas.

I'll have to post these as replies since I already posted last night.

Critiques and comments are always welcome and needed!

As we left the lake following sunrise, Jesse spotted some cool ice slicks, basically flat areas of the ground covered with thin layers of ice. The patterns were very cool!

The first and last ones are my faves. I'l bet there's not much ice on those tarns now!

The third is my favorite. Really nice fire on the mountain and in its reflection. Nice job Kalin.

Nice stuff Kalin! I was up there over the weekend. Todd is right - there is no ice up there and things have really melted quickly. The tundra has greened up and flowers are already popping out. In fact, things are almost getting a little crispy up high. Lots of paintbrush and other flowers getting close to blooming!

I just got my film last back night and got some keepers. I will try and scan this weekend a bit and post some of what I got. Ugh - the thought of scanning. Time to order up that 5D...

Love the last two! That ice shot is awesome.

Nice job Kalin. I like the first and third landscape shots, but that ice shot is extremely unique too.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I like the ice shot too. I've got some others that I like with thinner, more typical crystals, but this one stood out with the rounded shapes and range of blues.

Thanks for the update, Michael. I hope there is a little snow up at Missouri Lakes this weekend but maybe the flowers will be coming out. I plan to take my 4x5. I know what you mean about scanning. Digital certainly does spoil you! I'd prefer to carry both but my back isn't too keen on that

I'd like to see what you got too.

The 3rd and 5th ones are my favorites, although they are all beautiful. What a great place, and you sure took advantage of it1!
