I thought I'd give this forum a try after discussing it with Joel T. over coffee recently.
This photo is a mainstay Loon shot, but I like it because it's mine and it came from my lake. The Loons will forage near the boat without fear, sometimes surfacing close-by with a look of "if you have to be here just don't get in the way".
20D, EF 500 f4L, 1/320, f5.6, ISO400, tripod w/sidekick, while drifting on my pontoon boat.
Welcome to the Midwest forum, Ken! Great image of the loon family. The eye contact is wonderful. I agree with Jack that some selective cropping will make this a real winner.

Wow This is a 5 star in my book! If we to be really picky and its a stretch, I might crop a bit off the top and a bit on the left, as it is I love it!
Keep them coming!

Hey, crop or no crop this shot is a winner - I like it a lot. Post some more!

Next time you have coffee with Christopher Jordan...oh wait.
