3rd of July 4th!
Good friends of ours put on a 3rd of July celebration which has become an annual tradition for them. The tradition begain a few years ago when Gary, a Lt. Colonel in the US Army, retired on that day. We have celebrated ever since with good food, drink and fireworks.

Here's one from last nights celebration to kick off the holiday images! Have a great day!

Great shot Wayne, did you use a cable release and bulb setting? If so how long did you leave the shutter open?

Yeah Tom, cable release (I almost always use one) and bulb setting. I set focus before the fireworks started and most exposures were about 10 - 15 seconds at f/11. Thanks! :wavey:

Very nice, and thanks for the exposure tips. Hopefully the storms keep sliding by us, and we'll get a chance at the night works.
