I was using Image/Adjustments/Replace Color and got creative and picked the color libraries button on the replacement color picker. Of course I had to pick one. Now none of the replacement colors are even close to the replacement color in the previous/new preview box. How do I undo this mess? I've tried selecting every color library in the drop down list and none of them reverts me back to the default color relationship. Is there some global default button I can press to restore everything to the way it was when first installed?
I've tried to duplicate your problem in Adobe CS3, but I can't. The Color Library that was set before anything was changed is Pantone Solid Coated. Hope this helps.
I checked another installation and found that also. That was the first one I tried on the aflicted computer, but it didn't help. Thanks for trying though. Oh, by the way, I was foolishly able to duplicate the problem on the other installation. Now I've got two fubar computers. I'm going to try disabling the registration and reinstalling CS3.
I noticed also that there was an Adobe CS3 update that auto installed on my computer today. Maybe it addresses this, if it's a bug I couldn't get my Adobe CS3 to create this problem.
Usually with the Replace color box open you can just click anywhere in the image and it will reset both color boxes but I assume you've tried that. If you have a MAC, you can hold down the shift+command+option buttons while starting photoshop and that should reset everything. PC is probably shift+control+alt.
