Following on from Pauls "depressed" a friend & I had a trip out on Sunday to the Mid Wales Falconry Centre. It was a chance to practice photographing birds in flight and was organized and hosted by Mark Sisson. Having seen the weather we had on Saturday i wasn't holding out much hope for Sunday!
But as they say "nothing ventured nothing gained" Sunday turned out very nice with the rain holding off for most part' and we all had a great day out.
This for me is a great way to hone my "in flight" skills and i need the practice!!!
..........So i thought i would post this static buzzard shot!
I can't take all the credit for the angle as i saw Mark taking very close-up shots and couldn't miss the opportunity to get up close with this great bird, sorry Mark
Regards
Kevin

Glad someone found some blue sky in the UK!! Like the Angle you 'spotted'
Lance - when a European refers to a Buzzard you need to think of a Hawk. The Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo) belongs to the same family as your Feruginous Hawks (Buteo regalis) and Redtails (Buteo jamaicensis).
Morning Kevin - nicely spotted shot and a good record of the fact that we managed to avoid a complete washout.
Now where are some of those in-flight ones??

What kind of buzzard is it? I only know Turkey and Black vultures.
