Baby wooducks.

Looks like the guy in the middle wants out... or maybe this is baby wood duck football on a 3rd and inches play.

Anyhow these guys are a riot when you get in on them. Bob Kulon was there with me this morning ( last Sunday)and also got some great images.. if he reads this post maybe he'll post a few so check back.

Nikon D200/ Nikon 500mm F4 / 1.4 tele /tripod ( duh!!)

Jack, an aaaawwwwwer indeed!

I owe you $15 - I took this one hand held using image stabilization. (Jack fines people for infractions like not using tripod, shooting on program mode, etc.)

Dang! Now I gotta get a 500mm lens, too! Great images, guys. Both have that extra "cute" factor that make them special beyond their technical qualities.

I could be in trouble then. I shoot my 4x5 field camera handheld and on "program" mode full time. Green square and be there!

Cute indeed - Shamelessly so even . These type of images can sell very well in certain situations. Nicely done both of you!

Although I had my 500 with me (on a tripod), I actually used my 300 f/4 with a 1.4x TC. This was crop down from a full frame Canon 5D. I think I bumped the ISO to 200 or 400 for some stability.

I already had the greeting card in my market booth visuallized when I snapped the shutter. A money shot, if you will.

Wow - I think I need a weekend!

Only if your lenses are really "espensive".

:jump:...I need a weekend as well. Thankfully I've got 3 days of shooting lined up. I'd go off the deep end for sure otherwise. Maybe it's already to late though.
