Stone Blanket
D2x
28-70 @ 44mm
F/8 @ 1/80

Taken a couple of years ago in the North Unit.

I've reworked this one and am wondering what you think. Here's a link to the Current version on my website.

Love the colors and lines on this. I'd be tempted to clean up some of those dark spots on the left side though. This won't help any but the current version on your site is really nice too with the more subtle colors.

I actually prefer the current version on your site, I like the warmer tones and overall feel better.

Mark,

For me, by far the image on your site is superior.

That's funny, when I went to my site to get the link, I thought," hmmm... that one looks pretty good".

Very nice. I particularly like how you captured the subtle cross banding. One wonders how such a formation is created.

BTW, "North Unit" of what?

Heck yea, the version on your website looks like the final while this is an early work in progress... perfection found !!

Mark,
The first thing my eyes did was go straight for the spots on the lower left. Other than that, I really like it. Very interesting patterns and colors.

Gorgeous, Mark. The one on the website is over the top wonderful. Looks like someone in the 'creation' department went whacko on this design. It's so cool! :toast:
