July 4th Tip of the Day - Get there early!

Sometimes you can't win for losin'. I finally got my technique down for shooting fireworks, get the camera, tripod and remote loaded in the car and what happens?? Hubby gets me to the show late and the only place left to set up has HUGE set of electric wires running right where I need to focus - oh well, hoping for the best next year.

The technicals look perfect Laurie. These are some beautiful bursts captured wonderfully. Looks like you're all set for next year! Have a great weekend. :wavey:

Nice fireworks shot Laurie! Pesky power lines are everywhere. Hope you have better luck with locations next year. Thanks for sharing! :smile:
