Lost Lake, Eagle's Nest W.A.
An unnamed mountain reflected in Lost Lake just after sunrise. Balancing the light was tough with the cornice on the ridge catching all of the light and blowing out as soon as the sun hit the ridge. I opted to merge 2 exposures - this is the quickie version.

The area is dry! Flowers are just starting, but not worth shooting where we were. The Gore Range needs a good amount of moisture soon to have any shot at a good wildflower bloom.

Great job on the blend! This is the epitome of a beautiful mountain lake. I want to be there NOW!

Crisp and beautiful, Dave! That perfectly still lake conveys a lot about the tranquility of that place. Good job with the blending - there's no tell-tale signs that I can see and it looks very natural.
