Moderator's Musings on a Banner Week

What an incredible week it was in Flora! I've been participating in this forum for quite awhile but I cannot recall any week coming anywhere close to this one in terms of impactful and superb images. In a typical week there will be one or two images that may receive 20 comments. This week there were SEVEN and another ten with between 17 and 19 critiques. There were at least five images that would have been no-brainer Moderator Picks in a typical week. Leading the fireworkks was Michael Lowe's 4th of July Fireworks. Newcomer Cliff Moore debuted with a marvelously crafted image using Helicon Focus software. Other spectacular images were posted by Mike Moats, Lia, Ramamohan Pai, Barb Hansen, Wayne Rhodus, and Jeff Mitchell. I'll be going on vacation in a couple of weeks and if this keeps up I'll be real glad to let Jim make the pick in my absence. What a wonderful tough problem it is choosing from this bunch. A major tip o' the cap to you all! >=))>

Bill, I agree - some great stuff posted this week! Heck, I even posted a feeble attempt at SOA.

Thanks for your time, leadership and enthusiasm!
