As I've mentioned a few times before, my Son and I are heading over to the San Juans for a week of hiking and photography. It would be cool to run into any of you folk, so I thought I'd mention my itinerary.

Here is the general plan:
16th: Home to Clear Lake
17-18th: Ice Lake Basin
19th: American Basin (afternoon) and Stony Pass (maybe)
20th: Yankee Boy Basin. Blue Lakes in morning maybe.
21st: CB area (Twin Lakes, Democrat Basin, or Copper Basin)
22nd: Home

If anyone plans to be in the area drop me a note and we can exchange cell numbers or whatever.

Jack, we'll be staying at the Ridgeway lodge for a few nights (19th and 20th) when my wife and younger Son join us. I'd love to see your showing if it is still up. Let me know if you still have a display up.

Everyone have a great wildflower season! :jump:

I might join you for the 22nd for "Home." What's for dinner?

Hey Kalin,
That's funny... my parents are visiting and staying in the lodge the same time as you! My gallery show is over, but I still have several prints hanging there, including one pretty big one. You should check it out for sure, especially because there's some other awesome artwork in there, including paintings by Pam Conrad that look like realistic lichen and rocks... hard to explain but they're sweet. It's the first gallery on the right as you roll into Ouray.

Great, Jack! I'll make a point of getting to the gallery. I'm sure we'll want to eat in Ouray one night.

Have a good visit with your folks. :toast:
