I'm finally processing some film from a hike to Royal Arch above Chautauqua during Memorial Day weekend. Here is one from the west side of the arch in the morning. There was some harsh light to work with since this scene was backlit, but a neutral density filter helped avoid washing out the sky. Comments are welcome. Also, does anyone have an ID on the flowers that seem to be flowing under the arch? Thanks for looking!

Very cool--quite an interesting comp! :toast:
The whites are a tad blown out, especially some of the bg flowers, but i appreciate the tough job on the exposure!

Interesting composition! The highlights looked really blown on my laptop at work but look better here at home. Looks like a tough exposure. The rock face seems a tad soft. Can you sharpen it more without making it look bad?
Can't help with the flower

Thanks for the comments. I sharpened it a little more and brought down the highlights of the flowers slightly. New version is now uploaded. :toast:

I like it better with this sharpening.
