Razorbill
Not been able to post much or comment lately but managed to look in every now and again.

My first trip to Skomer... Great weekend, disappointing photographically unfortunately :frown: but the beer and company was good!

But this was my first time of seeing Razorbills so can't grumble too much.

Comments appreciated

Great shot Gra  I've just binned a couple of my Razorbill flight shots I thought were okay until I saw this :frown: Cant wait to see more from you from that weekend. Composition I initially thought you could have shaved a bit more off the top but now I think it works for me  Razor sharp and great detail in the blacks. :toast:

Wow, that blue BG is gorgeous all the right bits of the bird sharp as a pin to. I would place it a bit higher in the frame.

Good cap Graeme and Tim's spot on about that stonking BG - I tend to agree with him to about raising the bird in the frame a bit.

Nice one :toast:

Wow, super shot and yes, the bird higher in the frame would make it better for me too.

Agree with the position of the bird in the frame...looks more unbalanced every time I look at it now.

Thanks for the input :toast:

Loads better than anything I managed from the trip  but like you said, the beer and company was superb :toast:

Maybe try that first B&B we pulled into next time, should get it a bit cheaper being a relation and all that

Nice work mate.

The detail captured is simply awesome Graeme especially the eye!

Bg colour really enhances the image, the positioning of the Razorbill I think looks fine, there again thats down to personal preferences

A flight shot very well taken & exposed :toast: :toast:

Super Graeme, detail is stunning, agree that it may look a bit better placed a little higher in the frame, should be easy to do....
