I am considering purchasing a digital projector and laptop for some slide shows. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks for your suggestions.

I gave a slide show once with a digital projector that was provided for me and was extremely disappointed with the color reproduction. Definitely not up to slide projector standards. Especially considering what they charge for those things. Good luck in your search.

There was an article on them in an Outdoor photographer a while ago, but within the last year. You might be able to search their archives. The old ones were 800X600 and often 256 color. There are photography specific models today which are supposed to be quite good.

Canon projectors have very true color & will auto-correct for many colors of walls & screens.
