Brimstone Butterfly
400D,100/2.8 macro,@f9,ISO400 1/500 Tripod

This is my favourite photograph of a butterfly that I have taken so far.

Found feeding on the blackcurrent bush in my garden

Thank you for looking

Hey Jacqui can we have an NPN meet in your garden?
Another great macro, just a shame about the out of focus twig but then again it does help show the tongue thingy. I've only ever seen these on the wing so a tad jealous.

Thanks Tim

I had to wait ages for it to land as it was constantly being chased by a large white,
I am only just getting into photography and love macro and have found a wealth of insects and spiders

Jacqui,

Nice shot, and welcome.
