Common Tern-Sterna hirundo
Hi Guys,

At the colony of Black Terns there are also some Common Terns fishing every now and then and i took up the opportunity to take some flightshots of the Common Terns as well.
The light has been very difficult this month over here, as the weather has been very bad for this time of year. In this case i thought it worked out rather well with the white bird against the white clouds.

Greetings,

Jeroen Stel

Hi Jeroen, I like the pose, but I'm not too keen on the white sky.

Hello Jeroen
As a web presentation, it doesn't quite work for me, but I suspect it looks much better as a print.
Best wishes

Love the 'pose'

I quite like the high key effect. Not for the purists but it's a cool shot IMO. :toast:

I too find the high key effect rather appealing, good pose from the bird too...
