After seeing some pics from here recently posted by Jody Grigg, I was really determined to stop by here the next time I was passing through that area around sunset. Glad I did too as the sunset yesterday was rather nice.

Nice Doug! Water, wildflowers, peaks and clouds - got 'em all. Only thing that would have made it better would be still water for that reflection. Nice shot though!

Wow! Classic scene, Doug.

Quite a scene, Doug! I'm envious of those clouds. The comp is really nice as is, but I think a tighter crop with just a touch of the foreground grasses (basically a square crop) makes it even stronger, calling more attention to the mountain, reflection and clouds. The flowers in the foreground are nice, but I'd trade them for a little more emphasis on that incredible light. Nice shooting!

I agree with Rick. I think the foreground is sitting so dark that I'm having trouble seeing the details. A square comp strengthens the photo for me as well.

I also agree with Rick, but I wonder if this might be a little better if the camera was a bit lower?
