Lazy Days
This small gator is taking advantage of a warm day and a comfortable perch. Taken back in the spring. Gators are absolute masters of efficiency and energy. Florida is a wonderful place to live if you like large, toothed reptiles.

He looks more comfortable than most people we have here at the beach! Great shot!

Your exposure for this shot is spot on, Bill.

The details on the gator and the log are perfect.

Leann, all he needs is a Pina Colada and he'd look like any other tourist!

Lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer. Nice one, Bill.

Richard,

Gators. The South. Louisiana.

So do you know the difference between a Louisiana zoo and a New York zoo?

The New York zoo has a sign on the animal's area citing name, genus, and location. The Louisiana zoo has a sign on the animal's area citing the name, genus, and a recipe.

Steve, all kidding aside, grilled gator tail is wonderful - very tender & tasty!
