Although...certainly not the most "exciting" image I have captured...I came upon these trees northwest of Buena Vista and thought...HMMMM...how'd that happen.

Anyone else captured similar multiple tree gymnastics?

We had a Trees thread a while back that included some twisted and acrobatic trees. I see much more of this type of thing out here in CO than in PA where I'm from. I'm certain the wind and heavy snows have a hand in forming a lot of these interesting tree configurations.

My contribution from Last Dollar Road....

Thanks for cluing me in, Rick. Some awesome shots in the Tree thread :toast: Didn't see any inter-species handholding, though.

Cool scene. It's always disturbing to see two different species getting that intimate. I did see a similar scene several years ago, but at least they were the same species. I think the twisting is just a result of the trees growing so close to each other that when they start to bump into each other, they have to find another path to grow.

There you go...I guess my scene is celebrating the differences (diversity)...Grant. Thanks.
