I noticed there was a strong odor in the air today coming from the north. It must mean Darren is almost home. Welcome back buddy! :wavey:

Yeah, I was talking to him via instant messaging a week or so ago while he was near Banff, and I had to turn off my special Smell-O-Vision plug in!!!

Welcome back dude! Can't wait to hear all about it, and of course, see more pics!!!

Nice pics on the update! That Takakkaw falls looks like it was gushing even heavier than Panther - cool shot!

That's cool that you headed back through the Beartooths. Hopefully the mosquitos weren't as bad as when we headed through there on the way home.

Looking forward to hearing (and seeing) about the rest of the trip!

Looks like a great trip!
I guess it wasn't so much the smell but the stinging in your eyes when trying to compose a shot that warranted the shower eh?

Cool to have you back Darren!
Do you think you will go in to visit to folks at work sometime soon or wait until after fall colors? :jump:
Man, I wish I could get that much time off. LOL ....

Hey maybe we'll see you and/or some of the other RMNP'ers in the San Juans this weekend. John Klotz and I are headed up that way for several days. I am sure we'll also being smelling and looking pretty 'feral.' :toast:
So how long can one go without taking a shower and actually stand their own smell? Has anyone here tested this out?

Darren, you kill me with all that vacation. Glad to hear you will be out there this weekend though. I'll be down in Ouray-Silverton area Thurs-Mon, so hope to catch you out somewhere.

Darren, BTW, I was trying to find your LaPlata trip report in the 4x4 roads section of your web site and can't find it. Did you remove it or only have a direct link to it? I'd like to review it again as I may head down there too this trip.
