I'm getting ready to get a new monitor and i'm pretty much settled on the dell 2407. I noticed some time ago that manufacturers started making High Color versions of monitors. Just recently dell has come out with the 2407 in an HC model. Apparently they can reproduce 92% of RGB, unless i'm mistaken. The nice thing is that they are about the same price as the normal 2407. Has anyone used an HC monitor yet? I'm assuming the high color ones are considerably more accurate seeing as the monitor doesnt have to pick a color thats close to the actual.
Adam, I can not exactly answer your question, but I have a Dell UltraSharp monitor, and I think it has a better screen than my old CRT monitor had for sharpness. I can see artifacts on images and graphics I could not see on my CRT.
What is worrisome to me is that over the past several months Dell has been listing fewer of Dell brand monitors and adding more of other brands to their pages for ordering monitors.
