Not sure if I can post landscape here but just wanted to share the view we had at the camp site two nights ago. Taken just after the sun has set.

This was my first go at capturing sunset. The amature that I am I forgot to bring my tripod! So rested the camera on a fence post. Although I stood rather exposed, luckily the evening was calm. Took a dozen or so frames with different exposures.

This was cropped to 16:9 as the sky wasn't that interesting. Adjusted horizon (wonky post ) so lost about 5% of the frame excluding panoramic crop. Bumped up the vibrancy in LR and burnt the sky slightly in PS.

Please let me know how you'd do differently as I'd like to learn lanscape.

Regards,

Des

Very nice - as has been said, the little camp fire is a great touch.

This is a great shot Des and your campfire where it is positioned in the frame makes it for me. :toast:
