Just an invite you all to have a look at my portfolio of images from Berlin that I have just completed.

Nothing to do with nature, but another facet of photography that you may or may not be aware of is my travel and architecture that find just as inspiring as nature.

If you have never been to Berlin I cannot think of a better European city to go to. Such a wonderful blend of clever design and use of space, all wonderfully entwined with rivers with draping gorgeous willows, monster buildings so sharp yet smooth to the touch, as well as historical significance and horror that leave you vacant and preoccupied as you poor too much sugar in your coffee. I barely scratched the surface of the photographic possibilities as I only had 4 days before I flew to Ireland, but I hope these images will inspire you to go there one day.

All the images were taken with a 5D, 17-40, Tamron 28-75 and a 70-200mm f4L, I find I need nothing more except a tripod.

Anyway hope you like them.

Very nice David. I especially like The Green Room, and Cubist III. It's a city I've definitely wanted to visit, but I haven't had the chance to get back to Europe since I got into photography.

Great selection of images David, I really like the way you have creatively used blur in "The Wall". Working with landscapes a lot it is so easy to get stuck at f/22 and forget about the creative possibilities of very shallow depth of field. You used it to great effect in the 'Roots Manoeuvre' too. My only example of such technique is here. Tristan

Cheers guys glad you like them. I totally agree Tristan, we spend so much time getting all in focus we forget the merits of selective focusing.
