Taken of the Welsh coast past Ramsey Island I think, I know it was a RSPB protected Island anyway.
Loved the muted colour of the birds against the black rock.

Nice shot, Paul. Was it taken on Grassholm? What were the photographic opportunities like there? I`m thinking of a trip down there soon.

There are some small islands of ramsey I think it was one of them, but was quite small, I remember seeing the RSPB plate to stay of the island, but that's all. But bird life was good, skommer was nice the day before, got my puffin shot with eels in its mouth, which i have wanted to take for ages.

Nice shot Paul IMO a pano shot may have been better here. Cutting out the top 2 birds and the bottom left hand corner of the head. :toast:

Hi Paul, a nice shot of the breeding colony. I second John's suggestion on a pano. :wavey:

Cut does indeed look much better, thanks for comments.

May be my monitor (it's crap!) but could the shadows be lifted a bit to show a bit more detail? I'll probably change my mind when I look at this on my work monitor (which is crap as well but less contrasty  ) Much prefer the second comp Paul :toast:

Nice shot Paul and agree that it is improved by the crop. Very difficult exposure in harsh lighting.
