Occasional avaianal
Everyonce awhile usually on my way back to the car I try my hand at shooting birds if they present themselves. This little one hung out with me until momma came looking for it. I was only 3-4 feet away and amazed that it stayed so long.Canon XTI,Tamron 200-400mm 1/40 sec @ F10,ISO 400.

Leann, Nice capture.

Right place at the right time, but you nailed it once you were given the opportunity!

Yummy. I was hoping to have berries with my breakfast. Thanks, Leann.

The details on the bird are great. Is it a wren? And is the beak curved, or perhaps my eyes playing tricks?

Thanks guys,
Lance:The adult that came back for it was a finch. What was surprising was that this baby was as big as the adult!
